Sophos Anti-Virus for NetApp Storage Systems provides on-access scanning of files held on a Network Appliance filer.
The Sophos virus detection engine scans all files as they are written to or read from the storage device. Viruses, Trojans, worms and malicious spyware are all detected, and infected files are quarantined or deleted.
Sophos Anti-Virus is automatically updated from a central installation directory which is maintained by Sophos's updating application, EM Library.
